Located north of the city just outside the downtown area, Yangmingshan is a great break from the busyness of the area.
There are many natural sights to visit, as well as hot springs to enjoy.
Yangmingshan can be most easily reached by taking the Taipei MRT to 'Jiantan Station', coded R15 on the red line. After arriving at Jiantan Station, transfer to one of the many busses running up the mountain.
