The most famous posh area of Taipei City, Dongqu is most well known for its high number of small boutiques and cafés.
Located in the eastern part of the city, the area is walkable and has many shops and restaurants.
Dongqu can be most easily reached by taking the Taipei MRT to 'Zhongxiao Dunhua Station', coded BL16 on the blue line. This station is located in the center of the area.
The area is also within walkable distance of Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall.
